Darius off his usual game....
On this glorious Spring outdoor evening, the setting was perfect with a great crowd, not sold out however, but good size nonetheless. The wait time for the final act was unfortunately a bit too long! Darius has outstanding energy and loves his Atlanta base, finally at approximately 9:20 the show was on. Long time fans from the Hootie days enjoyed his cross over adventure as well, sadly his voice didn't match his energy. Just not a fantastic outing for this usually rocking guy. I guess it's nice to give a hand up to some up and coming acts, but was just a tad too much to ask the crowd, 3 opening acts and then a 45 minute wait for Kicker Monster Truck Show to come out. Not sure if they were wanting late arrivals to show or filler crowds to come in but the Hubby noted that one of his players was off key as well.
